It is expected that Yamaha FZ 250cc is coming soon to India from Indonesia this year. Yamaha Company is ready to set to replace its best selling bike in Indonesia, which is named as Scorpio- Z with a Yamaha FZ that has a 250 cc engine. But still the Yamaha new model bike will be named Scorpio only. The Scorpio bike will have its appearance like that of Honda Tiger, Bajaj Pulsar and Kawasaki Ninja 250R. The price of the Scorpio will surely be a competitive challenge to the Bajaj Pulsar 220.
The Yamaha Fazer 250 has the specifications like, it has an engine capacity of 249cc, SOHC, single cylinder and it has a engine with Asia Fuel injection. It has a power of 21 hp at 7500 rpm and 12Nm at 6500 rpm as its torque. When we see the brake it has 100/80-17 and 130/70-17 as its front tyre and rear tyre respectively. It has fuel tank capacity of 19.2 liters. With all these features it has a top speed of 145 km per hour.
It is said that there is a high hope among the fans of Yamaha Fazer 250 to see it keeping its foot on India. The company can also manufacture the Yamaha bikes in India and it can export it to the South East Asian and South American markets. But still the people in India have to wait till it gets launched in India. The never ending wait is still continuing among the people for the Yamaha Company’s latest launch which has recently launched Yamaha R15 and Yamaha FZ16 more successfully.
Moreover the Yamaha FZR has undergone a make over with its model. The round head lamp from the Yamaha FZR bike has been replaced with a new headlamp. The headlamp looks similar to Yamaha FZ -16. The rear part of the bike also got a new looks with its tail light which gives it a sporty look. The indicators are made smaller in its size. The bike is said to continue with its existing 250 cc engine and the other technical specifications and features. It is also said to have all the necessary ingredients for a success of a motorcycle.
Yamaha FZ 250cc will be placed along with the CB300 which is from Honda Company, in the international market. Let us hope that the bike brings the 250 cc bike into India soon with an affordable price tag.
